  • 1. Core Gear & Shaft Power Transfer
    The Dongfeng Final Transmission delivers ultimate torque multiplication via a robust Drive gear and Driven gear interface. This gearset is mounted on the Half axle shaft, which transmits power directly to the wheels. Precise gear alignment and load distribution are ensured by a critical Spacer sleeve.
  • 2. Heavy-Duty Bearing & Sealing System
  • Bearing Support: Utilizes high-capacity Ball bearing 307 and Tapered roller bearing 7211 for radial loads, combined with the massive Tapered roller bearing 2007114E specifically engineered to handle extreme radial and thrust forces generated at the wheel end.
  • Comprehensive Sealing: Multi-layer protection includes:
  • Oil seal PD50×70×12: Primary seal for the axle shaft interface.
  • Oil seal SD60×90×12: Secondary seal for enhanced contamination exclusion.
  • O-ring seal 26.5×2.65: Seals static housing interfaces.
  • O-ring seal 103X3.55 & O-ring seal 128×3.55: Seal critical larger diameter housing joints and bearing seats against oil leaks and dirt ingress.
  • Bearing Retention: Bearings are housed within a precision Bearing seat and enclosed by a Bearing cover. Final preload on the large tapered bearing is secured by a Lock nut and Lock piece.
  • 3. Final Drive Housing & Hub Interface
  • Structural Enclosure: Power transfer occurs within the sturdy Right/left half shaft housing, providing structural integrity and precise component alignment.
  • Wheel Mounting: Torque is transferred to the wheel via Rear hub bolt and Rear hub nut, securing the wheel assembly to the final drive output.
  • Gasket Sealing: A Paper gasket ensures a leak-proof seal between housing components.
  • 4. Secure Fastening & Vibration Resistance
  • High-Strength Bolting: Critical assemblies are secured using Hex. head bolt M12×35 with Spring lock washer 12 for vibration-proof retention.
  • Axle Shaft Retention: The half axle shaft is positively locked using a Hex. nut M20, paired with a Lock washer 20 and Plain washer 20. This combination ensures the shaft cannot loosen under heavy cyclical loads and vibration, critical for final drive safety and reliability.
