  • 1. Input Shaft Assembly & Sealing
    The Dongfeng Gearbox (A) features a robust Input Shaft design, offering configurations for both Input shaft (1000/540) and Input shaft (730/540) RPM requirements. Critical sealing is ensured by an Oil seal SG35×55×10 and protected by the Front bearing cover, shaft I, secured with Hex. head bolt M10×35 and Spring lock washer 10. Precision alignment is maintained via the Bearing cover gasket, shaft I and Bearing seat gasket, shaft I. The Front bearing seat, shaft I houses a durable Ball bearing 208, while a Circlip for shaft 35 provides secure axial retention. The primary Constant-mesh gear, shaft I ensures smooth power transfer initiation.
  • 2. Main Shaft (Shaft II) & Gearing
    Shaft II forms the core transmission axis, carrying precisely machined gears:
  • 1st speed gear, shaft II
  • 2nd speed gear, shaft II
  • 3rd & 4th speed gear, shaft II
    Axial forces are managed by a Thrust washer, roller. Needle roller bearings (Needle roller 2.5×19.8) minimize friction on gear bores. The assembly terminates at the Rear bearing cover, Shaft II.
  • 3. Planetary Reduction Unit
    This high-torque stage comprises:
  • Planet Carrier: Housing Planet Gear assemblies on Planet Gear Shafts, supported by Needle roller 3×19.8 retained via a Needle bearing retainer.
  • Shimming & Alignment: Precision Front shim, planet carrier and Rear shim, planet carrier ensure optimal gear mesh.
  • Interface Components: Splined ring, planet carrier facilitates output connection. The unit is enclosed by the Rear cover, planet carrier and features a Sliding gear for engagement control. Critical Shim, Planet gear ensures proper gear positioning. Secured by Hex. head bolt M12×70 and Spring lock washer 12.
  • 4. Countershaft Assembly
    The Counter-shaft transmits power through its gear train:
  • Gearing: Includes Constant-mesh gear, counter-shaft, 1st speed gear I gear, counter-shaft, 2nd speed gear, counter-shaft, 3rd speed gear, counter-shaft, and PTO transmission gear variants (PTO transmission gear (1000/540), PTO transmission gear (730/540)).
  • Spacing & Support: Gears are separated by Front spacer sleeve, counter-shaft, Middle spacer sleeve, counter-shaft, and Rear spacer sleeve, counter-shaft. Supported by Ball bearing 305 (front) and Ball bearing 106 (rear).
  • Sealing & Retention: Front sealed by Front bearing cover, counter-shaft with O-ring seal 54.5×3.55. Rear secured by Rear bearing cover, counter-shaft and Rear Retaining ring, counter-shaft. Fastened with Hex. head bolt M10×25 and Hex. head bolt M8×25 / Spring lock washer 8.
  • 5. Power Take-Off (PTO) System
  • PTO Transmission Shaft: Driven via the PTO transmission gear on the countershaft.
  • Retention: Secured axially by a Circlip for shaft 30.
  • Output Interface: Features a Splined sleeve for implement connection, retained by a Circlip for hole 28.
  • 6. Reverse Gear Mechanism
  • Reverse Gear Shaft: Supports the Reverse gear, running on a low-friction Bush, reverse gear.
  • Axial Control: Managed by a Thrust ring, reverse gear.
  • Retention: Secured by a Retaining ring, reverse gear and Hex. head bolt M12×30.
  • 7. Precision Adjustment & Fastening
  • Circlip Systems: Includes Snap ring ball bearing 50307, Snap ring 80, Circlip for hole 55 for various internal retention needs.
  • Calibration: Adjusting shim components (listed twice for emphasis on critical placement) allow fine-tuning of gear meshes and bearing preloads.
  • Secondary Fastening: Cheese head screw M6×8 secures minor internal components.
