  • Support Plate: A reinforced steel plate that mounts the brake assembly to the axle, distributing braking forces evenly and ensuring alignment.
  • 2. Braking Mechanism
  • Brake Hoof: Two semi-circular brake shoes lined with high-friction material (sintered metal or composite) that clamp against the Brake Hub to generate stopping torque.
