  • 1. Core Gear Train & Power Transmission
    At the heart of the assembly lies the robust gear train. The PTO DRIVEN BIG GEAR and PTO DRIVEN SMALL GEAR form the primary driven elements, receiving input torque. Complementary driving gears include the PTO HIGH GEAR DRIVING GEAR (x2) and PTO LOW GEAR DRIVING GEAR (x2), enabling selectable speed ratios. Precise gear alignment is maintained by a critical SPACER BUSH.
  • 2. Gear Engagement & Shifting Mechanism
    Smooth gear selection is facilitated by the PTO SHIFT COLLAR, which slides along the shaft to engage either high or low gear sets. This collar interfaces directly with the dual PTO MESHING SEAT components, ensuring positive and reliable gear engagement/disengagement during operation. A SAFTY BONNET provides essential protection for the shifting mechanism.
  • 3. Bearing Systems & Shaft Retention
    Smooth rotation under load is ensured by multiple BEARING units strategically positioned along the output shaft. Axial location is precisely controlled using several retainer rings: the OUTPUT SHAFT FRONT RETAINER RING, REAR RETAINER RING, and OUTPUT SHAFT HALF RETAINER RING. A specialized OUTPUT SHAFT BEARING WASHER and THRUST RING manage axial loads, while a NEEDLE AND CARRIER UNIT provides high-load capacity support where required. Final shaft retention is secured by a ROUND NUT and WASHER LOCK.
  • 4. Housing, Sealing & Cover Assembly
    The assembly is enclosed and protected by the REAR END COVER I, which incorporates vital sealing elements. An O RING provides a static seal between housing components, while an OIL SEAL RETAINER RING secures the dynamic shaft seal, preventing lubricant leaks and contamination ingress. This cover is fastened securely using multiple BOLT components and flat WASHER elements.
  • 5. Fastening & Structural Integrity
    The entire PTO assembly is secured with high-strength BOLT fasteners (listed multiple times). Specific washers ensure proper load distribution, including a distinct WASHER 40 and standard WASHER components. These fasteners maintain structural integrity and precise component alignment under demanding torque transmission conditions.
