  • Core Assembly & Control Unit
    The FAW Gearshift Control Mechanism Assembly (Cab) is the driver’s primary interface for transmission operation within FAW trucks. This integrated system centers on the Gearshift Controller Assembly, housed within the cab. Critical sealing is provided by the Gearshift Controller Board With Seal Washer Assembly and the Seal Washer-Gearshift Controller Lower Cover, working in tandem with the Sealing Cap-Gearshift Controller Lower Cover and the Gearshift Controller Lower Cover itself to protect internal components from contaminants. Further protection is ensured by the Gearshift Controller Lower Cover Plate Assembly and the Transmission Controller Shield and Buckle Assembly.
  • Driver Interface & Linkage
    Direct driver input is managed through the Gearshift Handle And Gear Plate Assembly, providing tactile feedback and gear position indication. Driver movement is translated via the Gearshift Operation Rod Selector Arm And Bracket Assy and the Gearshift Operation Rod Seal Shield, which safeguards the rod’s entry point. The Outer Buckle contributes to secure component retention within this linkage group.
  • Cable Transmission System
    Precise gear selection and engagement forces are transmitted from the cab to the transmission via durable steel cables. This includes the dedicated Selector Steel Cable Assembly for choosing gears and the Shift Steel Cable Assembly for engaging the selected gear. These cables connect to the Variable Speed Control Pipe Assembly, sealed at its terminus by the Sealing Cap-Variable Speed Control Pipe.
  • Mounting & Retention Hardware
    Secure and vibration-resistant mounting is paramount. Key elements include the Flexible Shaft Fixing Bracket, Fixing Bracket Seat Assembly, and Flexible Shaft Mounting Cards (utilized at strategic points). Fastening employs robust hardware like Hexagon Flange Bolt Thick Rods (Standard Type), Hexagon Head Bolts, Assembling Bolts, Hexagon Nuts, Spring Washers, and Washers. The Split Pin provides essential locking security for critical joints. Cable Ties ensure organized routing of cables and hoses, while the Backing Block offers structural support at specific mounting locations.
